Join query parts

×

no parametersq_nope, q_pe

Place each head’s content and rotated features side by side.

out
Q~\tilde Q [B batch, 128 heads, 1 position, 576 latent + rotary]

When decoding, the content part is the absorbed query. The code keeps the two parts apart and adds their scores against the cached latent and rotary key (model.py 596–597); joining them into 576 features per head gives the same product.

Direct evidence

When decoding one token, the implementation absorbs the key–value up-projection into queries and outputs and attends over the cached latent directly.
